Ho Chi Minh City Open University, Vietnam invites you to the Vietnam’s Business and Economics Research Conference (VBER2018) to be held on 22nd – 24th July 2018 at Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The key theme of our VBER2018 Conference is “Financial Development & Inequality in Emerging Markets: The Facts and The Future”.
VBER2018 is the premier Vietnamese conference for academics, policymakers, practitioners, and postgraduate students. This year, we welcome world-class keynote speakers, Professor Ken Clements from the University of Western Australia, Australia’s elite university, and Professor Cheng-Few Lee from Rutgers University (USA), an American public research university. In addition, VBER2018 Conference also welcomes Professor Jun Du from Aston University, the UK, Professor Carmine Bianchi from University of Palermo, Italy and Professor Min-Teh Yu from China University of Technology, Taiwan. In particular, a special session for research students and early career researchers is scheduled during the VBER2018 Conference with the presence of world-class professors and senior academics as the discussants/advisors. We are also planning a special posters session for research students to share research ideas and any research topic is welcome in this session.
Selected papers will be considered for publication in the Review of Pacific Basin Financial Markets and Policies (RPBFMP), a Scopus and Thomson Reuters’ ESCI indexed journal. Please be advised that 16 accepted papers from our VBER2017 have been undergone a review process for publications in an ISI indexed – Emerging Markets Finance and Trade.
